Louisa Fulford-Jones

Director of Admissions

B.A. Harvard College
M.B.A. Harvard Business School

“My role is to coordinate all the moving parts and talented people involved in producing a truly exceptional journey around the world. I’m passionate about multilingual collaboration facilitated by intercultural exchange.”

Raised in London, Louisa’s first experience as an international student was on a school exchange program to Paris. At the tender age of ten (and with very limited French!) she lived for a week with a Parisian family and attended 5th grade with her “host sister.” This set into motion big dreams of crafting similar experiences for future students one day. Louisa loves languages – with trilingual fluency (English, French, Spanish…and ten years studying Latin!) she is currently learning German as the weekly dinner guest of a neighbor recently arrived from Hamburg.

At Envoys, Louisa is responsible for leading the company’s expansion into uncharted territory. Prior to joining Envoys, Louisa designed and taught a language immersion program across five grade levels at a private Montessori school.

Louisa is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School. She serves on the Dean’s Leadership Council at Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Felipe Correa Jaramillo

Chief Executive Officer

B.A. Universidad de Los Andes
M.Ed. Harvard University

“My role is to lead a well-rounded and highly functioning educational organization. I’m passionate about traveling with groups of students as an educator in classrooms without walls.”

Over the course of his career, Felipe has spent hundreds of days traveling with groups of students throughout the world. As a co-founder of Off Bound Adventures and Envoys, he has served since the founding moments in key strategic and management roles that throw him “real life case studies” and provide opportunity to apply what he learned during his masters degree in Education Leadership and Entrepreneurship.

Felipe holds a Masters in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, was trained as a psychologist at the University of the Andes, and serves as a director on the boards of the Harvard/MIT Club, Colegio Los Nogales, and the Colombian Federation of Waterskiing and Wakeboarding.

Long before education became his professional path, Felipe had an early career as a competitive water-skier, winning the Pan-American Championship at the age of sixteen.

Seth Leighton

M.A.L.D. Tufts University

“My role is to create programming and curriculum that meet the highest expectations for learning. I’m passionate about the professional development and personal growth of Envoys educators.”

Seth grew up in a small town on the coast of Maine, regularly exploring the outdoors with his friends and family. His desire for adventure and exploration has led him around the world, and he has lived, worked, and traveled across North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Europe, and Australia. A teacher’s son, Seth has been fortunate to develop his passion for teaching in public schools in Thailand, the University of Gondar in Ethiopia, the Korean Development Institute in South Korea, and Gimnasio La Montaña in Colombia. Seth has helped schools around the world to implement systems for data-based instructional improvement and is dedicated to ensuring that Envoys sets the standard for global competency education.

Seth graduated cum laude from Harvard College, and has earned advanced degrees from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He has worked with large international organizations as well as “on-the-ground” NGOs. He currently sits on the Advisory Board for Educate Lanka, and regularly consults with the ICT-in-Education division of UNESCO Bangkok.
